After retirement, we hit the road with our truck and fifth wheel. We traveled the west and midwest for 18 months staying at over 100 campgrounds. Our campground is a culmination of what we liked about all our stays:
Easy in and out; I hated campgrounds that were just too tight. I’d spend most of my stay trying to figure out the best way to get out when the time came. Our campground is just off the highway with big pull through sites.
Large level sites; No need to block up the front of the camper or build an extra stair so you can get in and out. Our sites are 12′ wide and 50 feet long with plenty of room for even the biggest rigs. The pads are actually a little higher in the front allowing you to lower to front of your rig for more stability.
Furnished campsite; We reserved ‘Deluxe sites’ whenever we could. Setup is so much easier if you don’t have to haul out your own table, chairs and grill. Cleanup is also much easier. Our campsites have a bar height table and chairs as well as a propane grill along with a smokeless fire pit with additional chairs.
